Playing Free Online Bingo: There’s nothing to lose

February 21, 2010

If you fear losing some cash when playing online bingo for the first time, there’s good news for you: play free online bingo!  That’s right.  The number of bingo sites have increased three-fold times since founders launched the first online bingo halls in the mid 1990’s.  Today, bingo is a $500-million industry and it’s expected to reach $1 billion by the end of 2010.

The bingo game doesn’t only appeal to gamblers, millions of people love the game simply because it’s fun and exciting.  As many would say, bingo doesn’t always need to end up in winning.

Free online bingo sites, such as Bingo House, run games throughout the clock.  The freedom to play anytime at your convenience suits busy people who work by day.  You can play in the afternoon or at midnight, and still be able to find games and, best of all, win!

Some free UK bingo sites give some cash (like $20) but you’d need to register “click here” to be allowed to play.  This is what they use to attract advertisers on their site.  Other sites do not give real cash at all, but the opportunity to play, interact with many different people, and experience the game in a virtual atmosphere is simply rewarding.

FIVE Sure-Win Online Bingo Tips

Online bingo or any game of bingo is not just about winning.  You’d realize that being able to interact with players from various locations, not to mention the excitement, all make up the game.  Yet, it’s good to take back the money you used to buy the cards.  To win, you need to practice good techniques.  Here they are:

1.    Play with a few online Bingo cards.  Remember that in order to win the game you need to be in control of it.  And, in order to be in control you need just enough cards you can monitor all at once.

2.    Know when to walk away.  This would apply in two situations: 1) when you’re not on the winning streak; and, 2) when you’re on the loosing streak.

3.    Be keen.  Be sure to cross out the numbers when they appear on the screen (or called out as in traditional bingo).  Don’t do too many things at a time as this puts you in higher vulnerability of losing, such as marking the numbers wrong.

4.    Look for Online Bingo sites that offer bonus games.  Bookmark excellent review sites to stay abreast with updates and ensure winning in each game you play.

5.    Find bingo sites that offer the most flexibility.  Some sites let you buy more cards even in the middle of a game if you feel you’re winning, but be sure you’ll be able to monitor all these cards at once.

Online Bingo: Let’s talk demographics

Aunt Sarah used to play traditional bingo a lot in her primes. Now that she got older, she can’t go out as much, yet, still miss playing the game. But with the influx of online bingo, she could play at UK bingo sites for as long as 18 hours a day without having to leave home.

At “Games ville’s Bingo Zone”, hundreds of people compete to win and await numbers to show on-screen in real time, for free, and bag $20 for a bingo. This is the typical scenario in many UK bingo online sites.

The founders at Games ville didn’t think of online bingo – or Aunt Alice – when they created the site. But when they deliberated on an existing game that can attract players from all age groups, only one game foot the bill – online Bingo! Contrary to what Games ville proponents were expecting, the average age of their players is 32 years.

Thus, if you’re thinking you’d be playing with people in nursing homes, you can relax. Other players could even be younger than you. But, heck, what’s wrong with having Aunt Sarah online?
